SOLiD Gear, Inc. “SOLiD”, “we”, “us”, and “our”) respects the privacy rights of our customers, vendors and business partners and are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy (the “Policy”) explains our data handling practices as a “Controller” with regard to your Personal Data, as well as your rights associated with your Personal Data. This Policy was last materially updated on June 1, 2018.  “You” and variations (e.g., “your”) shall refer to the person accessing the SOLiD Gear, Inc. website (www.solid.com) for any reason, including the completion of a “contact” form or any other method of communicating with SOLiD.

SOLID Gear, Inc. (“SOLiD”) is a data controller for purposes of this Policy. This Policy covers the information we collect about you in connection with our business, which does, or can be used to identify you as an individual (“Personal Data”). It does not apply to information that cannot reasonably identify you as an individual. For example, but without limitation, aggregated anonymous data, computer operating systems, aggregated preferences, vehicle identification numbers, etc. are not Personal Data.

Our website (www.solid.com) is not directed to individuals under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly obtain Personal Data from such individuals.

Our website is linked to the website of our parent company, SOLiD, Inc., which is a South Korean company (“SOLiD Korea”) headquartered in South Korea, and is used as the English language version of SOLiD Korea’s website www.solid.co.kr).  This Privacy Policy applies to any visitor to the SOLiD website that arrives there by linking through the SOLID Korea website.

B. Data Collections Specifics

We collect Personal Data that you may provide on our website and offline in connection with any inquiries, tradeshows or industry conferences. Information collected about your use of our website may be combined with personal or other information about you from other online or offline sources. We also will collect Personal Data across all the devices you use to access our website.

Providing your Personal Data to us may be required due to a legal obligation which could be a statutory or contractual obligation, may be on a voluntary basis or may be necessary for us to enter into a contract with you, depending on the purposes for which we collect and use your Personal Data as set out in this Privacy Policy.
